PSC 2024 pod Honorowym Patronatem Senatora i Europosła /PSC 2024 under the Honorary Patronage of Senator and MEP
Z ogromną satysfakcją możemy się pochwalić, że rośnie grono osób niezwykle istotnych dla naszego regionu i wspierających Pomorze Sprint Cup 2024 w Kwidzynie.
It is with great satisfaction that we can boast that there is a growing group of people extremely important for our region and supporting the Pomeranian Sprint Cup 2024 in Kwidzyn.
Właśnie otrzymaliśmy wiadomość, że Honorowy Patronat nad zawodami objęli senator Rzeczpospolitej Polskiej Pan Leszek Czarnobaj i Poseł Rzeczpospolitej Polskiej do Parlamentu Europejskiego Pan Janusz Lewandowski.
Pan senator Leszek Czarnobaj w latach 1997 -2010 był kolejno Burmistrzem Kwidzyna, Starostą Kwidzyńskim i wicemarszałkiem Województwa Pomorskiego, a na senatora Rzeczpospolitej Polskiej wybierany jest 5 krotnie bez przerwy od 2011 roku.
Pan Janusz Lewandowski w latach 1991 -2004 3-krotnie wybierany był na posła do Sejmu Rzeczpospolitej Polskiej, a od 2004 roku jest posłem do Europarlamentu, będąc tam przez 4 lata komisarzem UE ds. budżetu i programowania. W 2015 roku został też uhonorowany tytułem Honorowego Obywatela Miasta Kwidzyna.
Obaj panowie za sprawą UMKS Kwidzyn i UKS Azymut 45 Gdynia mają doskonalą wiedzę na temat biegu na orientację. Wielokrotnie, tak jak Starosta Kwidzyński Pan Jerzy Godzik i Burmistrz Kwidzyna Pan Andrzej Krzysztofiak, którzy już wcześniej objęli Honorowy Patronat nad Pomorze Sprint Cup 2024, gościli już na naszych zawodach.
Panowie, bardzo dziękujemy, że razem z nami będzie tworzyć to wydarzenie.
We have just received news that the Honorary Patronage of the competition has been assumed by the Senator of the Republic of Poland, Mr Leszek Czarnobaj and the Member of the European Parliament, Mr Janusz Lewandowski.
Senator Leszek Czarnobaj was the Mayor of Kwidzyn, Starost of Kwidzyn and Deputy Marshall of Pomorskie Voivodeship in 1997-2010, and has been elected senator of the Republic of Poland five times without a break since 2011.
Mr Janusz Lewandowski was elected 3 times to the Sejm of the Republic of Poland between 1991 and 2004, and since 2004 he has been a Member of the European Parliament, being there for 4 years the EU Commissioner for Budget and Programming. In 2015, he was also awarded the title of Honorary Citizen of the City of Kwidzyn.
Both men, through UMKS Kwidzyn and UKS Azymut 45 Gdynia, have an excellent knowledge of orienteering. On many occasions, like the Starost of Kwidzyn, Mr Jerzy Godzik, and the Mayor of Kwidzyn, Mr Andrzej Krzysztofiak, who have already assumed Honorary Patronage of the Pomorze Sprint Cup 2024, have already hosted our competitions.
